Condition: Very hard to find bronze by Edgardo Simone made in 1935. Approx. 7.5" Tall. We recently bought this at an estate auction. The person who owned this statue also had another statue from Edgardo Simone made one year earlier in 1934 of the same subject. The other statue is very similar but at the same time completely different. I don't think Edgardo Simone ever made pairs of bookends but due to the subject matter it seems the person who bought these used them as bookends. I am selling the other statue in a different listing.
